Cadillac has opened reservations for its upcoming 2023 Lyriq electric vehicle and the car sold out almost immediately. Cadillac has, in fact, stating that all 2023 Lyriq “Debut Edition” vehicles have been reserving.
There will be other 2023 model year Lyriq trim levels that will still be available. However, so far, the Debut Edition reservations are the only ones that have opened (then 19 minutes later, did close).
The Cadillac Lyriq has a great look and fantastic feel. It’s been said the price is right basing on the luxury of the vehicle and its specs.
Cadillac Lyriq Pricing and Horsepower
The Lyriq is going to start at a base price of just under $60k. In fact, the car will have a 100 kWh battery. It will bump up to 340 horsepower to the rear wheels. Then, it will be good for โmore than 300 milesโ of range (no official EPA estimate yet). Also, it comes with an onboard 19.2kW AC charger and it can charge at up to 190 kW on DC. Available on the Lyriq is the Super Cruise, GMโs driver-assist technology.

The Debut Edition is “limiting,” however, GM is not saying what that limit is. Moreover, the reservation fee is only $100 and is, in fact, refundable.
Cadillac Lyriq – 1,500 Vehicles Available
An update on the Cadillac Lyriq states 1,500 vehicles available, however, it’s been reporting that the dealers have said nothing of the sort. Also, Cadillac itself has not communicated that number.
GM is planning to sell additional Debut Edition Lyriqs through its dealer network through online reservations for the Debut Edition are full. This is according to the model’s website. This is was what was said by the carmaker: 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ Debut Edition reserves are full, but there are more vehicles that will be available to order through your Cadillac dealer starting in the Summer of 2022.
